*Weekend Trip to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Cavan, 20th/22nd August 2010*
Are you interested in participating in this trip. We hope to absorb the atmosphere and busk during the Fleadh.
We are looking at booking a number of rooms in the Crover House Hotel, just outside Cavan for Friday, 20th and Saturday, 21st August. We have a rate of €45 per person per night B&B.

Rinceoil will perform upstairs in the Café. This event is for all our musicians, learners and experienced. We would encourage all our musicians to attend, maybe to listen at first, if too shy (!!), and then join in. It is a very informal atmosphere and is a lovely way to get started on performing. And age is no excuse!!!

Our next venture - the launch of our 2nd CD, Rush Potatoes - follows hot on the heels of a fantastic Scoil Samhraidh Chris Langan Weekend! Musicians have been rehearsing hard all year and over the last month, have been in the recording studios, putting down the tracks. The CD is due to be launched on 15th July at 7.30pm at the Fingal Co. Co. Offices in Swords. The CD will be launched by Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Ciarán Byrne. All those who took part in the production of the CD, along with family and friends of Rinceoil Fingal are very welcome to attend!

This year's AGM took place in Rush Community Centre at 8.30pm.
Registration for next term will also took place on this night at 8pm in Rush Community Centre.
All parents and adult music students are very welcome to attend our meeting. We would very much encourage you to consider joining our very active committee with your ideas and thoughts. It is always good to have new Committee members and gain a fresh perspective on issues to do with Rinceoil Fingal. Please consider it and speak with any current committee member either before or on the night.

*Christmas Day Mass, St. Maur's Church, Rush, 9am - It has long been a tradition that Rinceoil Fingal play traditional music and carols for 9am Mass. We invite all our members, young and not so young to get involved. We will be having a number of practices, so keep an eye on the website for details.

Fingal Co. Co. Mayor's Award for Community Group of the Year 2008
On Thursday, 27th November, the Committee of Rinceoil Fingal were invited to attend the above awards ceremony, having been successfully nominated and shortlisted for the awards. The event is sponsored by Fingal Co. Co.
This is our second time to be nominated for the award and we are delighted to announce that, despite very stiff competition, we achieved 2nd place. This is great recognition for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes on a voluntary basis, in particular, the hard work of our dedicated Committee.
The Awards Ceremony was held in the Draíocht Arts Centre, Blanchardstown, with Marty Whelan as Master of Ceremonies. A fantastic night was enjoyed by all!!
