Registration for Classes

Classes resumed on Tuesday, 23rd September, with all classes and band practice being held on Tuesday nights in St. Joseph's Secondary School, Rush. We held an Open Day on Saturday, 13th September, 3-5pm at Rush Community Centre. If you missed us, you can e-mail us to register your interest, or turn up next Tuesday to register and begin.

Cost of classes are as follows:
*1 class = €85
*2 classes = €150 (this could be either 2 family members taking 1 class each, or 1 person taking classes in two instruments)
*3 classes = €220 (again, this could be either 3 family members taking 1 class each, or 1 person taking classes in 3 instruments, or 2 family members taking 3 classes between the 2 of them)

First Term runs from Tues, 23rd Sept 08 to Tues, 20th January 2009
*No classes on Tues, 28th Oct,
*Break at Christmas from Tues, 9th Dec, returning Tues, 13th January.
*Last class for this term is Tues, 27th January 2009.

Second Term will run from Tues, 3rd February to the end of May 2009.

If you have an instrument you are interested in learning, which is not on our list above, please e-mail us with your interest and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Music Classes, Band and Dance Workshops

We can now confirm that we will be holding all classes and Band practice on Tuesday nights, in St. Joseph's Secondary School, Convent Lane, Rush.

Classes will be in the following instruments (subject to numbers)
* Bodhrán
* Piano Accordion
* Banjo
* Fiddle
* Tinwhistle
* Concertina

Band Practice will be held on Tuesday nights after classes from 8.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m.
We have a very exciting project for our Band members this year - our objective is to complete the recording and release of our 2nd CD within the year - a tall order, but are you up to the challenge?!!! All we ask is your commitment to attend all Band nights and practice tunes in between practice nights!!!
If you are seriously interested in committing to be a member of the Rinceoil Fingal Band, speak to any one of the Committee members at any time.

Dance Workshop in Community Centre, Rush will resume in September. All Rinceoil Fingal dancers urged to attend. It is hoped to hold a dance workshop once month. If you are interested in becoming a Rinceoil Dancer, please e-mail us with your interest and we will make contact with you.

Rinceoil Fingal Uniform
The Rinceoil Fingal uniform consists of a white t-shirt/polo shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
